ABOUT THE STIHL PRESSURISED WATER BOTTLE

The STIHL pressurised water bottle provides a portable supply for wet cutting when a mains water connection or pressurised hose is unavailable.
Its 10-litre tank is pressurised using the integrated hand pump. Water then flows through the hose and coupling to a compatible cut-off saw, helping suppress airborne dust and cool the cutting wheel.
The tank features a stable base, recessed carrying handle and large filling opening for straightforward use on construction, landscaping and roadwork projects.
Wet cutting significantly assists with dust control, but it does not remove the need for appropriate respiratory protection and other control measures.

FAQs

It provides a portable water supply for wet cutting with a compatible cut-off saw, particularly where no mains water connection is available.
No. This hire item is the pressurised water bottle only. A compatible STIHL cut-off saw and suitable blade can be hired separately.
The tank has a maximum capacity of 10 litres.
Pressure is created manually using the integrated hand pump. The tank must not be pressurised beyond its stated 3-bar limit.
Yes. It is suitable for use with the water connection on the STIHL TS420 and other compatible STIHL cut-off machines.
Potentially, provided the saw has a compatible wet-cutting connection. The hose fitting and manufacturer’s requirements must be checked before use.

NEED HELP CHOOSING?

Our team is here to help you find the right machine for your project.

No. Water helps suppress dust and reduce airborne particles, but it does not make the work dust-free. A suitable dust-control assessment and appropriate respiratory protection are still required.
No. It should only be filled with clean water. Chemicals, fuels, solvents, detergents and other liquids must not be used.
Operating time depends on the saw’s water-flow setting and the cutting application. The tank can be refilled and repressurised as required.
Switch off the connected saw, stop pumping and fully release the tank pressure before opening the filler. Never remove the cap while the container remains pressurised.
No. Pressure should be released after use and before transportation, storage, cleaning or refilling.
Yes. Build Compound provides local delivery across Yorkshire, subject to location and availability.
Stop using it immediately, release the pressure safely and contact Build Compound. Do not attempt to repair, seal or modify the tank yourself.
