Do I need experience to use the cement mixer?
The mixer is straightforward to operate, and basic operating guidance can be provided. The hirer remains responsible for ensuring that the operator is competent and follows all safety instructions.
How much material can it mix?
It has a maximum mixing capacity of approximately 90 litres—roughly one full wheelbarrow load per batch.
Can it mix concrete and mortar?
Yes. The Belle Minimix 150 is suitable for mixing concrete and mortar for brickwork, paving, footings and general construction.
Does it need an electricity supply?
No. It is powered by a Honda GX160 petrol engine, making it ideal for outdoor sites without convenient access to electricity.
Is the stand included?
Yes. The removable swivel stand is included and raises the drum to a practical height for emptying into a wheelbarrow.
Can you deliver the mixer to site?

Do I need to provide the fuel?
The mixer’s fuel arrangements will be confirmed when booking. It should only be refuelled using the correct unleaded petrol and in accordance with the operating instructions.
Can the mixer be used indoors?
No. Petrol engines produce dangerous exhaust fumes. The mixer must only be operated outdoors in a suitably open and well-ventilated location.
Do I need to clean it before returning it?
Yes. The drum and paddles should be washed immediately after use and returned free from hardened concrete or mortar. Additional cleaning charges may apply.
What happens if the mixer breaks down?
Stop using the machine and contact Build Compound immediately. Do not attempt to repair or dismantle it yourself. We will provide assistance and arrange a solution as quickly as possible.
